Meet Catherine Webster Stein:
My name is Catherine, and I am an involved grandmother to 2 quite amazing human beings. My world came crashing to a halt when I learned of the bullying and physical harm my granddaughter was experiencing at school. No teachers or students or principals intervened to help. Not one!!!
Self Defense classes were discussed and granddaughter, myself and her paternal grandmother decided to give it a go. Ms. Denise Plowman took us under her wing and fascinating Women’s Self Defense lessons began. Loud vocalization and much hilarity was ringing through the studio. Did we mention a few dents and bruises were felt as well?? Oh Yes! We walked into Ms. Plowman’s studio and into a world of confidence building, creating awareness and fascinating movement. Hands in your hoodie? 20 push ups! Why? This habit makes anyone hyper vulnerable to attack.
There is so much more to be shared of our experience but now I will just express my deepest gratitude to Ms. Plowman. We are now her Angels and share a bond beyond explanation. Now, on to our Yellow Belt work!
