Angela Polaina Bustos from Spain.

“I started practicing kenpo when I was 7 years old, now I’m 27, so it’s easy. I have been training and learning kenpo for 20 years. And I will continue for many more years. I am currently a 3rd degree black belt. I started competing at the age of 14, and I have achieved great achievements, such as being the World Champion in self-defense and I have been the Spanish champion several times in different modalities (forms, weapons, combat…) Kenpo is my passion and one of my dreams is to open my own school and continue teaching and spreading the power of kenpo.

I’m training in CD Estudio Martos Kenpo Karate, from Linares. My instructors are Pedro Martos Virgil (7th black belt degree) and Isabel Martínez Nartinez (6th black belt degree), we are federated in the national kenpo department of the rfek (Royal Spanish Karate Federation)

I live between Linares and Granada. From sunday to friday I live in Granada, and fridays after lunch I travel to Linares to train with my kenpo mates

I am currently studying Sports Science degree in Granada and also training for the World Kempo Championships (International Kempo Federation) in Caldas da Rainha (Portugal), I am part of the national Kenpo team. I will be participating in weapon, kata, and mixed self-defense ith my Kenpo mate Augstin Rodriguez and in semikenpo (similiar to point fighting)”
