My name is Shelby Rios, I am originally from San Antonio, Texas, but currently live in Grand Junction, Colorado. I am part of the Ohana Association and train under Mike Stephens at Grand Valley Kenpo Karate. I started my kenpo journey in April and have fallen in love with the art and the people in this community. I recently got my orange belt, and look forward to learning everything my next belt has in store. Kenpo has already taught me so much about life, myself, and, of course karate, I can’t wait to see what else this journey has to offer!
