Ken Kellogg began his Martial Arts journey in 1979 at Bob Perry’s Studio in Garden Grove. He was there until 1985 when he went to Bob White’s Karate Studio. Ken then trained with Mr. White and Dale Walker until 2000 when he decided to train at Mr. White’s studio exclusively. During this time he ran a karate program for 19 years at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa. When Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa cut out all after school programs in 2006, Ken began teaching at two elementary schools and the Fountain Valley Recreation Department until he opened his own school in 2009.
Ken has been on several television programs, news programs, and a couple of movies. He has also been on an ESPN special, as well as a movie currently in pre-production based on one of his students, Jeff Pieffer, who had Cerebral Palsy. He has, over the years, been blessed enough to work with many students with different disabilities.
Ken was featured in the magazine World’s Best Martial Artists and has been inducted into the Martial Arts Hall of Fame.
